Most People Don’t Know There’s A Forest Hiding In This Maine City And It’s Incredible

Maine certainly has no shortage of options when it comes to exploring the outdoors. In fact, those who love nature will find that Maine offers everything from beach escapes to green, lush forest. But, what about those who love the outdoors, but find they need to be a little closer to civilization than the 100-mile-wilderness? We recommend the Bangor City Forest!

To get to the Bangor City Forest, take I-95 to the Hogan Road exit. Head north on Hogan Road until it ends at Stillwater Avenue. You’ll make a right onto Stillwater Avenue, and then a left onto Kittredge Road through a parking lot. At the end of Kittredge Road, you can park at the top of the hill or continue to the other parking lot at the bottom of the hill. Enjoy!

Have you been to this awesome outdoor food festival? If not, you’ll want to check it out this August!
