  • 100-Mile Wilderness: Considered to be one of the most grueling parts of the Appalachian Trail, this is certainly not a day trip. But one of the very best spots is the 8.2-mile Gulf Hagas Rim Trail. It takes you through a beautiful section with waterfalls and a gorge.

  • Pemaquid Point Oceanfront Campground: This campground is located in New Harbor. This seasonal spot is great for both tent and RV camping and also features a store, playground, and other entertainment.
