River Road in New Orleans is one of the most iconic roads and has been around for a very long time.
It follows along the Mississippi River and can be a great way to get out of the city when the larger roads are filled with traffic.

As you continue down the road, you'll come across Rivershack Tavern, pictured here, which is an awesome place to stop on your journey.
You'll notice the levee following you all along the way.
