The Lindy Boggs Medical Center on Jeff Davis Ave. in Mid-City was a site of many heartbreaking stories during Hurricane Katrina. The center was full when the storm struck, including many who had come to the location seeking shelter. This soon became a nightmare after the storm struck, as the waters rose there was no easy way to evacuate from the center and many struggled to survive until rescuers could come.

This drone footage captures the state of the medical center now, which has still gone unused and basically untouched since the storm in 2005. It will truly amaze you!

What do you think they should do with this building now? Do you have any memories of this place from before the storm? Let us know what your experiences were like. We love to hear your stories.
