The Acadiana Park Nature Station is committed to educating people on the importance of preserving our natural environment. Learning about our ecosystems and wildlife is the first step in taking action to preserving it, and the folks over at the Acadiana Park Nature Station are committed to this goal.

Acadiana Park Nature Station is 150 acres of heavily wooded area located in Lafayette.

The nature station was established in 1978.
Their mission is to reacclimatize humans to their natural surroundings while emphasizing the importance to conserving these natural habitats that are crucial to our ecosystems.

There are 6 miles of nature trails to explore.

The trails are open every day, from dawn till dusk.
The trails are a mix of boardwalk and dirt trails, and will lead you around the park and along the Vermillion River.
