When making a move to Kentucky from a different state, things may not meet your initial expectations. It’s always wise to do a little visiting first if possible. The Bluegrass State is a pretty friendly place to start anew, but first timers still might be surprised by some of what they find.

There is an abundance of beautiful land across Kentucky that have been set aside as parks and preserves. In most cases, there's some type of park within 50 miles of a town.

Kentucky is a beautiful place to live, raise a family, and grow old. Like everywhere else, it has faults that residents either accept or don’t. The humidity and climate can be a challenge for some, but allergies tend to be the biggest complaint.
