Everyone In Kentucky Must Visit This Epic Waterfall As Soon As Possible

There is just something magical about a waterfall. Our homeland is filled with beautiful sites, forests, rivers and… Cumberland Falls State Park. This historical state park is home to the Niagara of the South, and possibly the most epic waterfall in Kentucky. The serene scene is well worth making a trip for. Both the waterfall and the surrounding park area perfect examples of the Bluegrass State’s beauty. Not to mention, the Falls are a great place to escape from the rest of the world and just absorb nature for a while.

Cumberland Falls is the Niagara of the South, an epic waterfall and historical area worth visiting in Kentucky.

If you have never visited the Niagara of the South at the Cumberland Falls State Park at 7351 KY-90 in Corbin, you should add it to your bucket list. The area is incredibly peaceful, overflowing with the serenity of nature. It is a perfect place to sit, relax and just absorb the environment, forgetting any woes you might have. The Cumberland Falls were sacred to many of the Native Tribes that traveled these lands, and once you visit, you will understand why. This epic waterfall in Kentucky is one of my favorite places to visit. What is your favorite waterfall to relax at in Kentucky?

I am somewhat a cliche'. I grew up running around barefoot on a farm in Kentucky. I love writing, art, sunshine, all animals and my incredibly patient husband, who tolerates my "crazy animal lady" side.
