It may have a cozy and inviting look now, but this 1819 building served as the Nelson County Jail until 1987.

They have seven rooms, including the Library Room (pictured above), the Victorian Room, the Colonial Room, The Garden Room, the 1819 Room, the Family Suite, and the Jail Cell, which is also known as the Fun Room. It is the only room that still resembles a jail cell, and even has two of the original bunks and waterbed.
