We obviously couldn't begin this list without talking about the place "dedicated to all things Oz." Tucked away in downtown Wamego is the wonderful Oz Museum, which features more than 2,000 Wizard of Oz artifacts, colorful exhibits, a unique gift shop and several fabulous surprises along the way. After tapping together your ruby red slippers to return home, you will want to head next door to the Oz Winery.

There's no place like the Oz Winery, which features a variety of aptly named whites (Witch Gone Good), reds (Drunken Munchkins), blushes (Chateau d'Oz: Dorothy's Dream), and more. Word to the wise: Make plans to visit in October so you can partake in the annual OZtoberFest.

This is known as the "World's Longest Yellow Brick Road." It's comprised of more than 11,500 purchased bricks with the names of people, organizations, and schools inscribed on them. There's a special section with celebrities' names on them, including Whoopie Goldberg and Bob Hope, and a special section with the inscriptions of veterans' names. The next time you're visiting Sedan, you'll certainly want to take a stroll down the Kansas Yellow Brick Road. It's one of the most unique things you'll come across in this small Kansas town, and you'll certainly want to experience it.
