Have you ever been looking for the perfect little magical spot you can never seem to find? Somewhere you can sit in nature, breathe, and maybe open up a book? Well, there's an enchanting little spot right in Wichita that might fit you just fine. This tunnel of trees in Kansas provides the perfect little natural oasis for you to enjoy and get away from it all.
Let me tell you, this is one of my favorite escapes here in the city. It makes me feel like I'm living in the country again, which I never thought I'd miss so much!
The Great Plains Nature Center is a home away from home, especially if you love the outdoor attractions in Kansas. And this one little spot has so much to offer!
It's a center for conservation and also education. They have exhibits and live animals inside the building, but that's not what we're here for.
The Great Plains Nature Center offers so much to its visitors. There are tons of educational aspects to it, but the grounds are beautiful too.
Outside! In the summer, everything is lush, and green, and alive. Even more beautiful, though, is the fall!
The nature centers in Kansas seem to come alive just about all year long. There is something to see no matter when you visit.
The sounds of the city melt away to bring you moving grasses, crickets, and rustling trees. That's what we're here for!
And you can find your very own escape in this beautiful plot of land, surrounded by nothing but nature.
And holy moly, that's a magical sight. Seriously, I could sit under these osage trees and read all day. Don't you agree?
