If you haven’t begun spring cleaning yet, you might want to, because today we’re checking out some of Kansas’ great flea markets. There’s never a reason to pass one by—because it might just hold your next favorite chair, or music box, or that coin you’ve needed forever for your collection. Maybe you don’t even know what you want, you just need to find it! Either way, these markets are a great way to find anything and everything. Let’s go!
1. A Place In Time - 1200 W Old 56 Hwy, Olathe, KS
Open every day in Olathe (Right across from delicious Johnny's BBQ) there's a little shop called A Place in Time. Surely you could use a statement piece like this, or many others they sell here, right? Come check it out!
2. Clonmel Pit Stop Grill & Flea Market - 7015 S 183rd St W, Viola, KS
Take a step back in time in Viola as well, at this little shack full of food and gorgeous antiques as well. Who knows, maybe you'll find a new favorite stop?
3. Country Time Antiques and Flea Market - 1613 W 8th St Coffeyville, KS.
From sawblade signs to simple furniture, Country Time has plenty for you to browse and hopefully go home with. They're closed on Mondays, though!
4. Family Flea Market - 2705 W Highway 50 Emporia, KS
What a gorgeous tea set! I've always been fond of china, and as long as it isn't Sunday or Monday, you can visit here and get some yourself!
5. Miss Lizzy's Emporium & Flea Market - 1 N Broadway Herington, KS
Maybe I like tea sets a little too much? They definitely have plenty here to browse from, though! It's not just a china store. (Closed Sun-Mon as well)
6. Paradise Mall - 105 S Broadway St Pittsburg, KS
This place looks a lot like the markets i'm used to, with coin collections, baseball cards, and plenty other things people collect. Why not step inside to discover your next great find? They're open all week!
7. River Bend Antique Mall - 700 Woodswether Rd Kansas City, MO
Okay, this one really is right by the border line, and it's in Kansas city anyways, which should be all ours by right. Right? Anywho, there seems to be some awesome pieces you wouldn't find in many places, like a phone booth and old gas pumps. It's just around the river bend! (Like the song?) They're open Fri, Sat, and Sun.
8. Silvercreek Antique Mall & Flea Market - 269 E 47 Hwy Girard, KS
Just look at that wonderful table set! There's so many furniture pieces I'd love in my home, but you're just going to have to look for yourself. Hey, they're also open all week!
9. Treasure Hunt Flea Market - 6 S Main St Fort Scott, KS
They truly must be dealing in treasures, because this Victorian chair looks stunning. Is there any other reason you need to visit and check out what they have? Keep in mind they're closed on Mondays, though.
10. Village Flea Market - 2301 S Meridian Ave Wichita, KS
This is the market I remember going to all the time as a kid, and it's still going strong every Fri, Sat, and Sun. They really have too much here to describe, there's over 100 vendors!
11. Vintage Heirlooms & Collectibles - 300 E Main St Parsons, KS
They've got a little bit of everything here, from furniture to decorations to knick knacks. Why don't you check them out Tuesday-Sunday and find a piece for yourself?
Anyone else love flea markets as much as I do? Maybe not, but there’s still plenty of suggestions here to find that piece of your home you didn’t know you needed. Where do you like to shop for antiques? Tell us in the comments!
