Indiana’s riverwalks let you enjoy the view and scenery of the water while exploring a community or city from the inside. Many riverwalks offer fun ways to travel around the river, allow pets, and even have paddle boats and other water-friendly activities offered on the water. The Indianapolis Canal Walk is located in downtown Indianapolis and spans three miles. This canal walk is littered with restaurants, footbridges, and grassy knolls, as well as unique bicycle and surrey rentals. Want to check out the water up close? No problem. Rent a pedal boat or relax with a romantic gondola ride.
Located in Goshen, in northern Indiana, Millrace Trail is a crushed pebble and stone trail that runs along Goshen's hydraulic canal. This riverwalk, or rather, canal walk, is approximately 2.75 miles long and meets up with the gorgeous Shoup-Parsons woods.

The Pendleton Falls Park Riverwalk is located within this city's park, and runs along Prairie Creek. This riverwalk consists of segments of the park's four different trails and offers spectacular views of Prairie Creek, the nearby woods, and the park grounds. Located in Johnson County, Franklin Greenways provide a picturesque riverwalk for its residents. This riverwalk actually covers two creeks, Hurricane and Youngs Creek, and spans just under 3 miles. Elkhart Riverwalk is a beautiful urban riverwalk that goes on for just over 3 miles. The Ohio River Greenway spans over 7 miles and connects three neighboring cities. This riverwalk in southern Indiana is a popular spot for biking and running. it also offers a stunning backdrop for an evening walk with someone special, friends, or family.
The Mishawaka Riverwalk, also known as the River St. Joseph of the Miamis Trail, is a 2.5 mile loops that encircles the St. Joseph River.
