Chicago's Unique Elevated Bike Trail

On the northwest side of Chicago, there was once a portion of the “L” that ran for just under 3 miles. It was put out of commission and just stood there, abandoned. That is, until some citizens with an epic idea transformed this line into something that people could actually use. They took the idea of “rails to trails” to a whole new level with the 606. You just have to see it to believe it.
