Sandpoint's Lady in Green stands around the height of a full grown man - about 1/50th the height of her New York counterpart.
She arrived here at City Beach in 2003, as a gift to the city from the Turner family in memory of Louise (Lee) Turner.

For years, Idaho's Lady Liberty stood in the private garden of Ms. Turner. After her death, her family gave the statue to the city. "Lee" Turner owned the Cowgirl Corral in Ponderay and the Captain’s Table in Bayview. Since then, the tribute has become a focal point of City Beach.
She sits at the far end of Sandpoint's City Beach Park, where she ushers in boaters, swimmers, lake cruisers, and glorious Pend Oreille sunsets.
