Boise's treasured Bown Crossing district is suburban life-meets small-town neighborhood life. The Tavern at Bown Crossing is a long-standing gem that just recently added another restaurant to their arsenal: the Owyhee Tavern. But here in this little sub-neighorhood, in addition to the prime people-watching street-side patio the tavern has out front, it also has a sprawling, all-too-overlooked rooftop patio witha full cantina-style bar.

But while their patio seating (multiple fireplaces included) is awesome, the roof is where it's at. Officially named the Luna Bar, Barbacoa's rooftop seating area boasts wonderful views of Tablerock and the Parkcenter Pond--not to mention colorful sunsets!
