This study was completed by Credit Donkey, which was based off of factors such as, restaurants, crime rate, the time you leave for work, commute, income, divorce rate and percentage of income spent on housing. When you measure all of these factors together and compare them, what you get are the 10 happiest cities in Georgia!
Rincon translates to "corner" in Spanish. Well, this little corner of Georgia is truly special as it is one of the happiest cities in Georgia. Homes cost a little more than 20% of overall median household income here, and the median household income is pretty high--more than 60K. The divorce rate is pretty low here as well, with only 4.6% of men divorced and 15.6% of women divorced.
The median income in Peachtree City is more than 90K, and they only spend 20% of this on housing. Only 3% of residents leave at 5 a.m. for work and the average commute time is 28 minutes. The crime rate is low and the restaurants are plentiful!

Hinesville is another especially happy place on our list with a divorce rate of just about 10%. Additionally, 8% of people leave at 5 am for work. Lucky for them, their commute is pretty short with an average commuting time just under 19 mintues!

Who would have guessed that the second oldest city in the nation was also one of the happiest? The natural beauty and great seafood found in St. Marys, GA is sure to contribute to the happiness of their residents. Like the other towns on this list, the short commute time to work, high income and low cost of housing relative to income all contribute to maximum happiness!
Glennville is pretty small, with only about 5,200 residents--maybe that's why they have such short commute times to work! Their average commute time is 18.8 minutes, odds of violence are low and the median household income is more than 47K. They also are #1 on the list for lowest cost of housing at just a little over 16% of their income being used for housing.

Alpharetta has some of the best education in the state, is one of the richest cities, in the state and it's one of the happiest in the state! Almost no one leaves for work at 5 a.m., with a 0.8% rate of people leaving at this time. The residents also enjoy a high median household income of nearly 92K. Also, they only spend 18.6% of their income on housing.
Richmond Hill has a low divorce rate with it averaging about 10% for men and women. The commute time is about 22 minutes and the average median household income is more than 60K. They also enjoy a robust amount of restaurants, with 1 restaurant per 255 residents.
Coming in at #3 on our list is Perry, GA. The residents here enjoy a low crime rate with a chance of 1 in 307 people becoming a victim of crime, an average of 19 minutes for a commute to work and a median household income of more than 50K.

Pooler is a pretty nice sized community with nearly 21,000 residents. Despite its large size, residents feel safe with the low crime rates. The median household income is pretty high as well with the median being more than 72K.
Tyrone is the happiest city in Georgia! This impressive city has the lowest crime rate on the list, with the odds of being a victim 1 in 3,500! The household income is high too, with the median income being 88K. This city also boasts being the home to a couple of NFL superstars, such as Calvin Johnson and Kedric Golston.
