Have you ever wondered what the most photogenic place in our state is? What are your favorite iconic spots around the Sunshine State? We all have our own opinions on the topic, but now there has finally been a study of the places with the most shared photos on one of the internet’s biggest social media sites, Instagram. Earlier this month, USA Today published an article that answered this very question. They found the top five places that were featured in Instagram photos for each state. The results for Florida might surprise you.

1. Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World

Seeing how the Magic Kingdom often tops list of the most visited places in the entire country, it shouldn't be surprising that it took the number one spot.

Though it might not be a native Floridian's first choice, it makes sense that such a magical place would top the list.

2. South Beach, Miami Beach

South Beach snagged the next top spot, which makes plenty of sense to us. The beautiful beaches and art deco architecture are irresistible.

4. Universal Studios - This park is another option for a more grown-up audience. Here you can find characters from all of your favorite movies and TV shows.

5. Wizarding World of Harry Potter

This one is actually part of the Universal Orlando Resort, in both Univeral Studios and Islands of Adventure, with a special replica of the Hogwarts Express to take you between the two. You can't blame people for wanting to photograph this themed area that beautifully brings to life some of the world's favorite children's literature.

It makes sense that there are so many theme parks on this list, since so many people visit these places in Florida specifically to make family memories, but we have to admit there are a few places we think would be just as or more deserving of these places on the list. Then again, maybe it’s better that they haven’t been discovered. What do you think?
