This Charming Restaurant In The Heart Of Horse Country Is A Florida Dream

Florida is more than just theme parks and beaches. There are some absolutely lovely rural areas, with green fields, shady trees, and country roads as far as the eye can see. One of the prettiest areas is our own horse country, Ocala. Called the “horse capital of the world,” this area is well-known for producing some of the world’s finest thoroughbreds. This is a great place to visit and tour a horse farm or ride a few trails. With so much to see and do, you’re sure to work up an appetite, and it would be a crime to miss this absolutely charming local restaurant.

The Ivy House Restaurant is open for lunch Sunday and Tuesday, lunch and dinner Thursday through Saturday, and is closed on Mondays. There is another highly rated location founded by the same owner in Williston, at 106 NW Main Street.

Have you ever dined at The Ivy House Restaurant? What are your favorite things to do and see in Florida’s horse country?
