Everyone In Florida Should Visit This Epic Flea Market At Least Once
Fall is almost here, which means pumpkin pies, corn mazes and—if you’re a Floridian—beautiful weather. What better way to take advantage of the lovely days ahead than visiting an incredible outdoor market? You might even find the perfect gifts for the upcoming holiday season.
The Webster Westside Flea Market is not just any flea market. On any given Monday during the busy season, there are thousands of vendors here, and tens of thousands of visitors. This sprawling market put this little town in Sumter County on the map, and folks travel here from all over the country to hunt for treasures. When you mention Webster, most people will automatically think of flea markets. As you would expect, the market is busiest during the winter months, when the weather is cool and the snowbirds flood this tiny town located about an hour from Orlando.
At Webster Westside Flea Market, there’s something for everyone. The market has tons of antiques and collectibles, jewelry, furniture, clothing, tools, crafts, plants, produce, and just about everything else you can imagine. When you get hungry after a morning of shopping, there are two restaurants and several food vendors on site.
The market is open every Monday, rain or shine, from 5 a.m. – 3 p.m. in October through April and 6 a.m. – 2 p.m. in May through September.
