The Bubble Room in Captiva is one of the most unusual and wonderful restaurants on the planet. The decor is an eclectic blend of antiques, stars of Old Hollywood, and a Griswold-like obsession with Christmas.

There are five dining rooms on three stories, fish tanks, toy trains, thousands of antiques, and Christmas lights on every wall. Everything is unique, from the servers’ Bubble Scout uniforms to the names of the dishes on the menu. Would you like to try some Duck Ellington? Or how about a Pita Fonda? Whatever you do, just make sure you save room for dessert. The Bubble Room is famous for its wide variety of huge homemade cakes, with sky-high layers.
