Whether you’re planning a vacation to Florida or you’re a local looking for a day trip, breathtaking scenery is probably on your list of things you hope to experience. Everyone associates Florida with our beaches, but you have to visit our crystal clear springs, like Gissy Springs seen here.
9. Grayton Beach
Grayton Beach has been voted one of America's best beaches and is home to a charming artist colony as well.
Seaside is a master-planned community in Walton County. It has a very uniform and perfect look, but is also quite charming nonetheless. You might recognize it from the 1998 film The Truman Show.
Destin also has some of Florida's most prized beaches. This Emerald Coast city offers jaw dropping views of the Gulf of Mexico and pristine white beaches.
This view of Payne's Prairie State Park should make you give this college town a second look. Nearby Micanopy is full of historic charm as well.
Even our big cities are downright gorgeous.
14. Rosemary Beach
Rosemary Beach is another planned community near Seaside.

This is just one of our many historic and iconic lighthouses, and yet another reason to love Florida.
