If you grew up in Florida in the ’90s (or you have kids who did), you might remember a Kissimmee attraction called Water Mania. It was never as popular as other water parks in the area, like Wet ‘n Wild (closing later this year), but Water Mania welcomed thousands of families for almost 20 years before its demise.

These photos were taken by photographer Dustin Walker almost a year after the park closed down in September of 2005. Unfortunately for anyone hoping to explore the abandoned site, it’s now occupied by a mini-golf course and a Golden Corral. We can still look at these photos and marvel at how quickly nature starts to reclaim what humans leave behind.
