White Clay Creek State Park might be Delaware’s best kept secret. It’s just steps away from the University of Delaware campus, yet many students don’t even know that it exists. The park extends into Pennsylvania and Maryland, and trails continue for miles and miles. Hiking through White Clay Creek can take you as long as you’d like, and once you’re through the most scenic parts of the trail, you’ll return to your car at the end of a long day feeling accomplished and excited about nature. With all that White Clay Creek has to offer, it might be the best hike in Delaware.
