Just about everyone has heard of the Watergate Hotel. It's just a little bit famous, ok, well maybe it's a little more than a little bit famous. Let's just say, we know you've heard of it.
But it wasn't really a place that Washingtonians went to visit until last year. That's when they opened their incredible rooftop bar, the Top of The Gate.
The rink is small but it's still worth seeing. You can even skate right up to the bar and order some warm treats, a hot chocolate or a wintery cocktail.
If you want an even more luxurious and private experience, head downstairs to the Watergate's Whiskey Bar. At this bar, they've opened 12 heated igloos which seat 2-8 people and can be reserved for intimate experiences.
