Rodney "Pie Man" Henry started Dangerously Delicious Pies in Baltimore. In his youth, he learned tricks of the trade from is grandmother and became a skilled baker. Later he went on the road with the band The Glenmont Popes and he sold pies at the merchandise table and occasionally traded pies for lodging while on tour.
Dangerously Delicious Pies is a combination of Henry’s two favorite things: rock’n’ roll and pies. The shop is on H Street and is decorated with pictures of famous rock legends and funky decor.
While everyone has their favorite, there are some that top the list. The Baltimore Bomb is one of their best sellers. It’s filled with Berger Cookies and sweet vanilla filling. Top it with ice cream and you’ll be drooling when it’s served!
