The Most Underrated Place In Connecticut That You Must Check Out

Believe it or not, there’s actually a small debate about where the most underrated place in Connecticut actually is. Thrillist said it was Chatfield Hollow, but the Huffington Post said it was Stew Leonard’s. And Only In Your State? We went in a different direction entirely!

Like most people, you’ve likely never heard of The Stomping Ground. Probably because the locals like it that way, but I’m going to let you in on a little secret. It’s the coolest place ever. So why is it underrated? Located in a small town in the Quiet Corner, it’s become a staple of the community and is not often talked about outside of the region. But today it has the spotlight!

The Stomping Ground is located at 132 Main St, Putnam, Connecticut 06260. For another unique establishment, check out the incredibly scenic Brushmill By The Waterfall.
