The One Colorado Town With A Positively Magical Secret

Colorado is chock-full of hidden gems and secrets that should be mandatory for all locals to see. While even we may not know of every single one, we do know about this charming Centennial State town that comes complete with a magic twist:

Hiding in the small Denver suburb of Morrison is the small and magical Tiny Town, which is made up of darling kid-sized buildings, trains, and other surprises!

Though the town itself may be tiny, the history is anything but, beginning with its opening as "Turnerville" in 1915.

After being open for not even 15 years, a devastating flood damaged Tiny Town in 1929, followed by another one in 1932, and then a terrible fire in 1935.

As if these mishaps weren't enough, Tiny Town has also closed down and re-opened a number of different times due to changes in owners and other natural disasters, but became re-established in the mid-1980s.

Since then, Tiny Town has remained open and -- as mentioned in the intro -- features whimsical, child-sized trains...

...beautifully detailed homes and businesses...

...and friendly locals who will always welcome you with open arms!

Tiny Town will re-open in May with daily hours of 10 am to 5 pm. Tickets for the park cost $5 for adults and $3 for kids (with children under 2 FREE). For more information on Tiny Town, please visit their website.
