Is it just me or does it seem like the smaller the town, the better the food? Lucky for us, the Centennial State is home to several small towns with several delicious restaurants! Here are 10 of those restaurants that you’ll definitely want to visit:
1.) Eddyline Restaurant and Brewing Company (Buena Vista)
Not only does Eddyline serve delicious gourmet foods, they also make and serve their original brews (Hence the name, I guess?)!
2.) Golden China (Limon)
Yes, there is more to Limon than just a couple of truck stops and a McDonalds -- for instance, Limon is home to the (surprisingly) BEST Chinese food I have ever tasted.
3.) BRIX Sports Bar & Grill (Trinidad)
It's hard to go wrong with a burger and fries at a sports bar, but it's IMPOSSIBLE to go wrong with anything from BRIX. (Don't worry; they offer smaller portions!)
4.) Ef's Restaurant (Alamosa)
What the eff is Ef's? Only the most scrumptious homemade breakfast spot in the state!
5.) High Mountain Pies (Leadville)
Coloradoans know that Colorado Style Mountain Pie is the king of pizza -- I'm here to tell you that High Mountain Pies trump ALL.
6.) Baja Tacos (Sterling)
Ladies and gentleman: Meet your new BFF, the Frito Pie!
7.) I-70 Diner (Flagler)
Located just off I-70 is this nostalgic 1950s diner with its TO DIE FOR green chili and grilled cheese.
8.) Dutch Oven Smokehouse and Steak Co. (Haxtun)
In the most unsuspecting town lies the very best BBQ in the state of Colorado -- it's worth the trip!
9.) The Farm Bistro (Cortez)
Farm-to-table cuisine is HUGE right now and The Farm Bistro does it right with fresh (and delicious), locally grown food.
10.) Pagosa Baking Company (Pagosa Springs)
After spending a relaxing morning soaking in the mineral hot springs, swing by this charming bakery to pick up some of the yummiest baked goods this side of the Rockies!
