Pools are not hard to come by in Colorado (heck; go to any neighborhood with an HOA and you are almost guaranteed to find one!); however, all that chlorine can be harsh and harmful, leading many people to stray from an afternoon of swimming. Fear not, Coloradan, for the Centennial State is not only home to your standard pool, but this incredible spring-fed one as well:

Please note, Eldorado Springs Swimming Pool is temporarily closed for renovations.

Named one of “Colorado’s best pools in and around Denver” by the Denver Post, Eldorado Springs Swimming Pool is a large outdoor pool that has been open to the public since 1905. Featuring waters fed from an artisan spring, Eldorado Springs Swimming Pool boasts both all-natural (and stunning) blue waters AND a comfortable temperature of 76 degrees (which is warmed to 80 by the pool’s heating system). Like most pools, this Boulder-area treasure includes a fun slide and high diving board, but also jaw-dropping canyon views that you aren’t used to seeing whilst swimming.

The historic Eldorado Springs Swimming Pool is located at 294 Artesian Dr. in Eldorado Springs and is open Memorial Day through Labor Day from 10 am to 6 pm. For more information on prices, season passes, and more, please visit Eldorado Springs Pool’s website.
