However, if you are looking for a space that is truly one-of-a-kind, you must visit this incredibly unique park that is located right in our own backyard:

Located in southeast Denver lies the hauntingly beautiful Babi Yar Memorial Park; a 27-acre memorial park that was built in honor of the 200,000+ killed during the Nazi massacre of Ukrainian Jews.

Opened in 1982, the walkways in the park were specifically designed to resemble the Star of David, in addition to a number of other incredible features like memorial columns, lindens planted in a grid to represent the countless lives lost, and even a gorgeous fountain comprised of black granite.
