Located in beautiful Granby lies the YMCA of the Rockies’ Snow Mountain Ranch; a premiere destination for vacations, family reunions, and retreats that features a number of fun seasonal activities like snowboarding, horseback riding, and mountain biking. What you may not realize about this mountain treasure, however, is that in addition to its popular snow tubing opportunities, Snow Mountain Ranch also offers an epic summer tubing hill. “Snow Mountain Ranch is expanding the ability to offer the traditional winter activity of tubing throughout the spring, summer and fall with the inclusion of a designed and built Snowflex® tubing slope,” states Snow Mountain Ranch’s website, going on to say that this technology is not only the first of its kind in Colorado, but also the third of its kind in the entire country!

The summer tubing hill is located at the YMCA of the Rockies (1101 County Road 53 in Granby) and is open from Memorial Day through October 1st. All-day rates for YMCA members cost $15/person, with non-member passes costing $35 (for ages 13 and older). More information on this epic summer tubing hill can be found on the YMCA of the Rockies’ website.
