However, despite all of this perfection, there are still a few things we’ve grown to hate, including: 1. When idiot drivers refuse to accelerate in the merge lane. Flickr/Anne Petersen THE LANE ISN'T THERE FOR DECOR, PEOPLE! 2. I-25 in general. Flickr/Michael Fajardo My husband and I have decided that we're the only two people in the world who know how to drive on this stupid interstate. (Just nod your head and humor me!) 3. Inadequate beer choices at a restaurant. Flickr/Fellowship of the Rich "Oh, you only serve Budweiser? Just go ahead and squeeze a lemon into a glass of milk... it'll taste the exact same at a fraction of the cost." 4. The Raiders Flickr/Chris Yunker UGH THESE GUYS ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! 5. Transplants Flickr/FWO Clothing www.zazzle.com/fivewuno If you're new to the area and love it, welcome! If you're new to the area and do nothing but complain about how it's nothing like home and try to change it, LEAVE NOW. 6. The insane cost of living Flickr/Pictures of Money I may be wrong, but I have yet to meet somebody who actually enjoys paying some of the highest rent and mortgage prices in the country. 7. Unpredictable weather Colorado 4x4 Colorado: Keeping us on our toes since 1876. 8. When Mike Nelson lies to you during his 7-day forecast. Flickr/Paul Swansen It's ALL a big conspiracy... 9. Cats Flickr/Jimmy B Because a dog doesn't try to kill you in your sleep! 10. Weed jokes Flickr/Don Hankins As utterly hilarious as cannabis jokes are, you can keep them to yourself. 11. Dry climate Flickr/eBomb716 I think most of us have a love/hate relationship with the Colorado climate... on the one hand, we don't have to battle the miserable humidity; but on the other hand, we have to deal with dry, cracking skin every. single. winter. 12. Opposing political views Flickr/Chris Coleman In Colorado, we feel strongly one way or another about politics... so if you lean more to the left, steer clear of Colorado Springs; if you lean more to the right, don't visit Boulder. What do you hate most?
