A Brighton police officer is making national news after this candid picture went viral:
Brighton Police Department Officer Nick Struck distracted the young two-year-old girl by singing her a lullaby after her father was killed in a fatal car accident. A passerby named Jessica Matrious witnessed Officer Struck’s kindness and snapped the picture. Struck told NBC’s Denver affiliate 9News that he sings “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” to his daughter whenever she is hurt and that he just “started singing it to the little girl.”
