The Tiny, Rustic Arkansas Cafe Out In The Middle Of Nowhere You Have To Try

We’ve discussed the tiny town of Jasper before, as it’s totally surrounded by incredible natural beauty. With a full time population that hovers around 450 people, Jasper is tiny. Nearby Low Gap Township is even tinier. You probably already know about the area and its proximity to natural wonders like the Arkansas Grand Canyon and the Buffalo National River, but there’s a little cafe hiding out near Jasper, in the community of Low Gap, that is also well worth the journey out into the wild.

The Low Gap Cafe is located on Highway 74 in Low Gap Township, right near Jasper.

You’re going to love this burger barn hiding out in the woods, and this restaurant on the Arkansas River, and this restaurant with another incredible view. In fact, you might want to look at this list as well.

J.B. Weisenfels
J.B. Weisenfels has lived in rural Arkansas for three decades. She is a writer, a mom, and a graduate student. She is also an avid collector of tacky fish whatnots, slightly chipped teapots, and other old things. In her spare time she enjoys driving to the nearest creek to sit a while. If you were to visit her, she'd try to feed you cornbread.
