The Tallest House In America Is Right Here In Arizona And It's Absolutely Unreal

Arizona boasts some phenomenal natural attractions, but there’s one of the manmade variety that’s equally as jaw-dropping. The tallest house in the entire country, aptly named the Falcon Nest, is located in Prescott and is currently for sale. Here’s more on what’s inside this breathtaking architectural phenomenon:

The Falcon Nest was designed in 1994 by Sukumar Pal, a famous architect who originally built the skyscraper for his family.

Towering at 124 feet, the home is considered to be the tallest single-family residence in North America.

Inside, the 6,200-square-foot home contains ten separate levels, with a viewing tower at the top.

Getting to the very top of this towering house means climbing up 144 stairs.

Like most strenuous climbs, the view from the top is definitely worth it. On clear days, viewers can see all the way out to the San Francisco Peaks, 90 miles away.

The main level, located on the 6th level of the floor, contains the more conventional aspects of a house: a kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms.

Aside from providing jaw-dropping views, the height of the home actually helps keep the interior cool during the summer and warm during the winter.

The other giant in the neighborhood, Thumb Butte, is a gorgeous natural attraction and perhaps the only nearby structure that rivals Falcon Nest.

Although this structure is far from isolated, it's safe to say you'll feel like you're on top of the world.
