Birds, brews, burgers, and brunch. It’s a rare opportunity when these four things come together to create one unique dining experience. But you’re in luck because Arizona is home to one fantastic restaurant that combines all of these on one roof. Check it out!
The Perch Pub and Brewery is located in downtown Chandler near Arizona Avenue and Frye Road. The young restaurant (it celebrated three years in January) is known for its rooftop dining in a whimsical setting and tasty food.
And at night, it looks magical with twinkling lights wrapped around trees and live music playing. Grab a seat at a patio table, the bar, or on a couch.
But what makes this restaurant truly stand out are the birds. The restaurant also acts as an animal sanctuary, creating a home for a large number of tropical birds in expansive aviaries.
The restaurant's owners dedicate their time to help these previously abused and neglected birds to become comfortable around humans and giving them a chance to have a permanent home. When you visit, you'll get a chance to safely interact with the birds living here.
The Perch has an expansive menu that doesn’t necessarily resort to bird puns (you'll find a few here and there) or gimmicky menu options. Instead, you’ll find classic, American dishes made memorable with quality ingredients.
One of their best options is brunch! Here, you’ll find a long list of items like huevo rancheros, breakfast pizza, and delightfully sweet French toast.
