From the Glenn Highway take the Arctic Valley exit, Follow up the hill 7 miles to the top of Arctic Valley Road, Map here.

Head to the Chugach Mountains about 10 miles outside Anchorage to Arctic Valley's Tube Park. This tubing hill is epic! Head down the fast, contained tubing run for the thrill of the winter.

Tubes are available in large and small sizes by reservation. Make sure to book ahead as this popular spot is sold out quickly.

Arctic Valley is a glorious spot in the Chugach Mountains and you will love the sun on your face, the fresh alpine air and the workout pulling your sled back up to the top of the run.

If you are a skier you can still join the fun after you wear yourself out on the slopes. Add a tubing run to your ski day to maximize your fun in the mountains.

There are 3 or 4 sessions a day with a 50 rider limit. Reserve your tubes and prepare with warm gear and an adventurous attitude.

Don't Miss the Merry Marmot ski, fat bike and tube races in the spring. Look for it at the end of the season for even more good, clean fun in the mountains.

When you need a break, head into the lodge for a warm, comfortable place to relax before and apres tubing. They have a pro shop, rentals, and of course, hot cocoa.
