Cheaha State Park is located atop Cheaha Mountain, which is Alabama's highest natural point. This state park offers stunning waterfalls, beautiful wildlife, and gorgeous scenery. Without a doubt, Cheaha State Park is an outdoorsman's paradise!

The town of Mentone is located atop Lookout Mountain and has less than 500 residents. In addition to it being one of Alabama's most charming small towns, it also has the highest elevation of them all. While visiting Mentone, you'll experience views unlike anywhere else.

One of Mentone's main attractions is Wildflower Cafe. This quaint cafe serves a variety of delicious food in a casual environment. It's also been featured in a number of publications. Wildflower Cafe is a must-visit the next time you're passing through Mentone. (6007 AL-117)

Sallie Howard Memorial Chapel is another attraction that's located in Mentone. In 1937, this unique chapel was built into the side of a rock by Milford Howard. He did this as a memorial to Sallie, his late wife. Sallie Howard Memorial Chapel is open to the public, and services are still held there each Sunday.

It's no secret that Little River Canyon National Preserve, which is located atop Lookout Mountain, is one of the South's most beautiful natural spots. This preserve offers many outdoor activities, including swimming, kayaking, hiking, and camping.
